For the eighth consecutive year, El Globus Vermell is organising the “Renaturalization of Educational Spaces” conference, along with its parallel activities. Over the years, this event has become a hub for professionals from various sectors who work together to improve cities on physical, environmental, social, and educational levels.
This year’s central theme will be Water Management in Renaturalized Educational Spaces. As we face increasingly unpredictable climate conditions, key questions arise: How should we respond to these changing weather patterns? What are schools currently doing to address these challenges? How is the government involved, and what policies are in place? And importantly, how do we design renaturalized schoolyards that are resilient to both droughts and heavy rains?
This annual conference has established itself as a leading event at the national level, focusing on the Renaturalization of Educational Spaces. Barcelona serves as the host city, recognized for its efforts and the progress being made by local government in transforming educational spaces through renaturalization.
This year, we will continue to share knowledge and experiences with educational communities, local and regional administrations, and professionals from various disciplines such as psychology, health, facilitation, research, biology, education, and architecture.
