On the 18th, 19th and 20th of October come to the 7th Days of Renaturalization of Educational Spaces and Environments at Nau Bòstik in Barcelona.
The occasion will bring together representatives of various local and autonomous administrations from Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Castile and Leon, Madrid, the Basque Country, Valencia and Catalonia, in an intersectoral Table at national level around the Renaturalization of spaces and environments educational, accompanied by experts in biology, sociology, pedagogy, architecture, landscaping, participation, health,…
For the seventh consecutive year, this meeting is held in the city of Barcelona, in this edition co-organized by the Provincial Council of Barcelona, Barcelona City Council, Institut Metropoli, Institute of Childhood and Adolescence of Barcelona, Open University of Catalonia through the program CoolSchools and The Red Globe as coordinators of the Patis x Climate Program.
This year’s goals include:
- Promote the renaturalization of open spaces and biodiversity in the city, starting, specifically, with playgrounds and educational environments.
- Inform and provide the administrations with tools, procedures and examples for the implementation of projects for the renaturation of schools and their environments at municipal level.
– Consolidate the Program as an annual state milestone for the general public and local and regional administrations.
The program takes place on October 18, 19 and 20, and includes talks, round tables, exchange spaces, a work table, guided visits to educational centers that have already been transformed and an exhibition.
The exhibition can be visited from October 18 to 22 at Nau Bòstik, where the VII Days are held and brings together experiences from all over Catalonia, carried out by local administrations such as Barcelona, Cardedeu, Manresa, Hostalets de Balenyà or Sant Feliu de Llobregat who are committed to Renaturalization as a tool for urban resilience in the face of the new scenarios presented by climate change.
